Baseball Birthday Banner

Just want to share this quick post today, of a birthday banner I made for my grandson's 1st birthday! Take me out to the ball game!....  As you can see, the theme for the big day was baseball!

To make this highchair birthday banner, I used red card stock for the pennants, white poster board for the baseballs, then some glue and/or double-sided tape to adhere the balls to the pennants, I used a red magic marker for the stitching on the baseballs, then I used stencils to paint the "O", the "N", and the "E", in blue acrylic paint, on each one.  Once the paint dried, I then punched holes in the upper corners of each pennant.  After running ribbon through the holes, we could then hang it in the front of the tray of highchair...

Finally, we were ready to begin the customary cake smash! Hard to believe he's turning a whole year old already!..  And he's taking his first steps too!

Gotta run...
But thanks for stopping by today!
