Tasha is quoted as saying, "In spite of all the pollutions and horrors, how beautiful this world is. Suppose you only saw the stars once every year. Think what you would think... The wonder of it!"
On this day, in memory of Tasha Tudor, it seems fitting to brew myself a pot of tea; and then to just pause and reflect on the beauty that surrounds us.
Yesterday, my family and I spent the day at our beautiful state park, by the lake. The weather forecasts were not promising, but God blessed us with a gorgeous day after all.... Looking out on the lake, as far as the eye could see, all I could think was "How magnificent, what God has made here!"
On our way home, as dusk was just setting in, we saw so many deer, and their babies, just feeling brave enough to step out into the open!.. More than we had ever seen in previous years! What a treat for us city-folk, who very seldom get to see these beautiful creatures, so closely! Just like Tasha said, "The wonder of it!"
Today, I am linking with Rookery Ramblings.
