The little spoon I tied to this tag could use some polishing, yes... But I'm very happy with this tag this week! I'm a big fan of the movie, the cast, and love all the songs!... I used to even have the doll, and am sorry I don't know whatever happened to it.
"In every job that must be done, there is an element of fun!" I definitely had fun making this tag!... And now I'm kind of excited to go hang this on my movie star "wall of fame", just above the entertainment center in my living room! I think it's going to look great there!
Thanks to Rebecca,
for hosting Tag Tuesday each week!...
And thanks to all for stopping by today!

Your talent astounds me, Tina, this is another lovely tag you made and I too, love that movie and Julie Andrews is just adorable...I've always had a soft spot for her.
You have truly found your niche when making these tags and tp roll albums. They are so detailed and magnificent looking. What will you do with them all? Give them as gifts? They are all keepers when you think of how much of yourself goes in every one of them and the thought you put behind putting them together. They truly reflect you on a personal level, I think!
Glad Ubu found some peanut butter snacks he can eat. How old is he? Gizzy will be 14 in November and I think that's why he sleeps so much, but since it got hot, he sleeps pretty much non-stop unless I wake him up to do stuff...and I do ;-)
And the theme song, too?? Amazing! This is one special tag!
Ah, this tag is so much fun and so is your post! But when Mary Poppins chimed in, well, that put the cherry on the top! I sure hope you start feeling better soon it's been a tough year for colds and allergies, I here people complaining everywhere.Take care of yourself!
P.S. I think your tune may become my ear-worm today *giggle*
Would love to see the whole wall too. Nice.
How great is this?! Lovely and I like a bit of tarnish on silver myself!!
Rebecca
. . . you find the fun and SNAP the jobs a game.
And every task you undertake,
becomes a piece of cake,
a Lark,
a Spree,
it's very plain to see . . . .
Personally, I like the old looking spoon :0}
A Great Idea Using Mary Poppins! I think your Spoonful of Sugar Tag is Absolutely Gorgeous!

Hi Lucy,
I can't find the post about the painting the plastic eggs....but anyhoo...first I scratch them with sandpaper so the paint sticks....I use spray paint for the entire batch of eggs...I open them up and lay them flat..and spray..white/off white...a light color.. Once dry...I use acryllic paints, whatever your color fance..brown,cream,blue...mix and match
to the deisired colors... When dry you speckle paint them using a dry brush or old toothbrush..
pulling the bristles back and let em fly....
hope this helps.....Happy Friday and Sunshine to you... Ethyl
What a wonderful tag and post...I love it...so creative!! Hope you feel better soon!!

Thanks for the sweet comment on my blog! I'm glad you are enjoying it! I have started following you as well!!!
Glad you're feeling better. I know how allergies are. Mine are to mold and fungus..rain and humidity does not help and it goes year round! I have found Lodrane 24 helps alot and for alergies that effect nose and throat a drop of Oil of Oregano under the tounge work miracles! I didn't beleive it, but it seems to keep my throat and tongue from swelling. My Vet told me about it...go figure. Love your tag! I envy how you all just whip these things up.
I have missed you!!! I was so glad when I found one of your comments on another blog. I thought I had better hop on over and say hello. I hope you are doing well. I love your tag, lots of talent in those fingers girlfriend!! Char
