Memorial Day 2011

And thanks to those who made the ultimate sacrifice...

Four things support the world...
the learning of the wise,
the justice of the great,
the prayers of the good,
and the valor of the brave.

Thanks for stopping by,
and I hope you are enjoying your Memorial Day Weekend!

Today is the day I always went to the cemetery to plant flowers on Mom and Dad's grave. If I worked it out right, I would finish when the Memorial Day Parade ended up at the Circle of Honor.

Growing up, Dad would march in the parade and Mom, Lee and I would meet him there when it was over..

Good, warm memories for this Memorial Day, 2011.

Nicely sad, and cute cute picture. Glad you enjoyed my story about growing through crochet.
