Ready or Not

Here it is..  and boy I was nervous!  I've never done this before, and I've NEVER liked public speaking of ANY kind!...   BUT, I want to share how my scrapbook came out, and this was the best and easiest way to do it.   Sometimes ya just gotta be brave..  Muster up a little COURAGE!  Right?!

It really is funny, because at the end I'm not sure why I am laughing, or giggling the way I am, except for that I'm just so happy I'm DONE with it!  No more talking..  I'm o.k...  I survived the challenge! I can quietly go back to blogging now, and I'm feeling a little better already...   back in my comfort zone again!

Just to give credit where credit is due though, here are some links that were either mentioned, or should be!

For where I learned to make the fabric flower on the cover:  Drew Michaels Design Blog.

For the creator of Abbie:  "Thanks again Elsa!", at Just a Few Designs.

For where I got the Wizard of Oz papers:  Scrapbook.com.

For where I got the Wizard of Oz paper dolls:  go THIS Squidoo.com page.

For a very helpful hand in figuring out how to post a YouTube video, along with the continuous, tremendous amount of creative inspiration she shares, "Thanks Fiona!"

The kids are off from school this week!  Hooray!  Everybody's enjoying the break, and I'm busy with new projects already!

Thanks for stopping by!

Oh my! I love your color choices and the idea of envelopes and space for journaling (I need my writing space lol). I love the sun tribute; what a bright smiley flowery sun! I love the heart pin! The Tin Man is my favorite character. I LOVED everything. I'm so glad my beloved Old Bagg, Linda, pointed you out.

Thanks for sharing your beautiful crafty goodness!

Tina, that video was great - I think I must've smiled the whole time because at the end my cheeks were kind of sore ;-)

WOW! What a work of Art! I have never seen such a thing before. I can tell it took a long time to make because of all the intricate inserts and embellishments - I am so impressed! Wonderful job and you did well on the video. I thought you were laughing because maybe you were a bit nervous (as you stated in the beginning) but also glad you're done with your presentation. It was great and your little giggles made it so much more personal! I had fun watching it and posted it on my facebook too! You are a true artist! and have every right to be proud of yourself.
Congratulations and have a wonderful week. Greetings to your family and UBU
Hugs,
Doris and Gizzy (woof)

I could certainly tell how much you love the Wizard of Oz as do I. I also remember getting ready to watch it. It was so exciting and here you presented the excitement as well. What a fabulous album, a true work of art, all from your love of The Wizard of Oz. When you spoke about getting into your P Js, and once a year, watching was a major event, it reminded me that's just how it was at my old home too. Now, I have my DVD and can watch anytime, but I still only watch once a year or so.
Beautiful album, can't believe it is your first. A wonderful work of art.

Hi Tina,
What an awesome video, you did so great. I hope we get to see more of them.
I absolutely Loved the book. Every single page is so full of inspiration. I had seen the shoes on your other post, they are perfect for this book. I like how you incorporated things you made yourself, like the shoes and the broom. It turned out so nicely. I also loved the way your pages are not all the same size, how some of them are smaller and the hidden pockets are pretty cool. Makes me want to run into my craft room and make something. LOVED IT!
