Pink Shoelaces, Man Oh Man!

It's Pink Saturday, and "Man oh man", I've got some pink music to share just for the occasion! I thought this was really cute! It certainly had ME dancing in my chair, and tapping my feet under the computer desk!

Tell the truth now! You were dancing too, weren't ya? I just KNOW you were!! Your husband, or your kids were walking by, and looking at you like you're a nut, right?!

Oh well.. I didn't have any pink shoelaces for today, and I sure didn't have time to shop for any. So what did I do? I decided to CROCHET some, of course! Now if only I had found the time to buy some new WHITE sneakers, to wear with my new shoelaces, THAT would have been nice, don't ya think?! For now, I guess these will have to do!

As I conclude my little pink post, I'm just wondering how many of us are going to be singing this song for the rest of the day? I'm pretty sure it will be stuck in my OWN head, ALL WEEKEND, so I'll be singing it too!

A big thanks to Beverly, at How Sweet The Sound, for hosting this event each and every week! Make sure you stop there to see what she's got, and then her listing of all the other participants. That list is always growing, but try to visit as many as you can! "Ooh, ooh, ooh!", it really is a lot of fun to see where everyone's imagination has run to, and all the pinks they've come up with!

The minute I read the title of your post I started singing that song in my head. I didn't even dare listen to it because I knew I'd never get rid of it if I did.

Love your pink shoelaces. Maybe you should put together a pink shoelaces challenge and see what everyone can come up with?

. . . . and happy PINK SATURDAY to you, too! Great song and shame on you for getting it in my head. :) I was lying in bed last night, thinking about those placemats you made, for some reason. I then started wondering how in the world you have enough hours in your days to get so much done? I think I crochet pretty fast, but I still don't seem to find the time to get my projects done. It seems you are always showing us your nifty little goodies, and I just don't know how you do it. I guess I will just continue to be in awe. :)

Oh Beansie!
I am tappin in my little pink house slippers. My feet are giving me trouble today, so can't put shoes on. I sure do love those shoelaces tho. They are just darling. Thanks so much for sharing. Amy continues to struggle. Every day is something new. She is still having problems with her blood pressure really, really low, and her oxygen levels really low. It is so scary. Debbie has learned how to change her trach incase of an emergency and it would come out. She is learning about the suctioning, the cleaning care and the constant supervision. Amy will have to be supervised 24/7. She is also learning about the peg tube care. This too is a lot of work. I guess Debbie said the state will not pay for a home health care to come and assist them. They are basically on their own. I just do not understand. Amy has been moved to a room, and Heidi and my husband are on their way as I write. They are coming up on Amarillo the last I heard. They left at 6am this morning. I continue to pray for a safe journey. This is not going to be easy for Heidi. She has not seen Amy so sick, but she is studying to become an oncology nurse, so she is about to get a first hand lesson. Take care my sweets. I will post again later today regarding Amy. I just needed a little break. It has been so exhausting for me. I am still having a hard time coping myself. Thanks for your prayers and for being such a wonderful friend. Love, Sherry

Love, love, love the song! How fun! Your pages make me want to crochet. I have been wanting to make a grannysquare afghan for about 100 years! My mom taught me to crochet when I was little - I might be able to figure it out - but, I am procrastinating!!! Pink Hugs, Patti paintinpatti.typepad.com

Fun song! I am not familiar with it. I turned it up loud so I could hear it and was surprised to see the words on the screen as well. That really helped! I would not have understood the words otherwise due to being quite hearing impaired. Oh and I put on my other hearing aid too to help me hear it as well. Then B-Daddy came in wondering what all the noise was. (and I was dancing in my chair too). He recognized the song.

Thanks for visiting me today.

So sorry that I am getting to you a day late and a dollar short for Pink Saturday. Seems like the day just got away from me.

The sun was out in the afternoon and all day today, so with all the rain we've had, I went outside to play.

As always, it is a pleasure to come here to see what you are sharing and what you've been up to during the week. Thanks so much for making my weekend all ♥Pink and Pretty♥

How fun! This post took me back to college days the the Phi Mu chicks would sing it at Rush - slightly modified lyrics.

Love your crochete shoe laces. That was a great idea.

Ahhhh........PERFECT pink post! Love your shoelaces...you really have everything covered, don't you?.....I LOVE a gal with a great sense of humor. Can you imagine comparing that innocent, sweet song about a fella wearing pink shoelaces to some of the horrifying rap music of today where they want to kill their mama's??? YIKES....Things have surely changed, haven't they?

My darling daughter's name is Dodi....no "e"....She was the only Dodi all through school....

Have a wonderful week!

Hugs,
Spencer
