Pretty In Pink Saturday

Well, here it is another Pink Saturday! Here are those butterflies I mentioned earlier this past week! I've seen them as magnets, but I chose to make them as plant pokes! Setting next to them is a Marie Osmond doll, holding tight to her Annette Funicello teddy bear! She is one of my most treasured dollies! Doesn't she look pretty in pink?

Here is some pink, or should I say "Light Raspberry" yarn I'm using to crochet one of my current projects! The little love-seat sofa with a kitty sitting on it, is actually a little creamer I found at a local church sale I just went to! Did I need it? No, of course not!.. But it was just so CUTE, and it was only a quarter! Next to this, you see another little porcelain doll, again pretty in PINK!

So, what am I doing this weekend? I was TICKLED PINK to find this video in the $5 bin at Walmarts! Remember this one?! I LOVE this movie! Oh yes.. I plan on getting comfortable with my iced coffee, chocolate cake, my crochet projects, and I'll be watching this one at least once.. maybe twice!!

Yep, that's the same color alright! I do so love pinks and purples. And yes, I need an extra storage room for my shoes and purses!

I see in the picture that you started your tote. Pretty easy, huh? I may work on mine a little tonight during the NASCAR race, but I'm going to work on other things during the day today. Have fun! I'll be checking email periodically if you have questions or want to share anything.

Love your marie osmond doll, she's got such an angelic face!! Hope you had a great pink saturday! Congratulations on your first smoke free year. I know how hard it is to do that, my last stick was Dec 3, 2007. Your blog sure has come a long way, so nice to see, always great posts. You have a real knack for blogdom. Great job!!!

Do you have an email address where I can correspond with you about the tote, or do you just want to keep doing it through comments? You can send your email address to PamScott@tx.rr.com.

I have not seen the variations of the pockets. Where can I see them?

Pammy Sue said...

Another question...are you going to sew your pockets to the purse with sewing thread or the yarn you're making the tote with? I'm thinking thread would probably look better, but I don't know.
